General Spinal Conditions
The postural evaluation is for patients who have been told that they have poor posture but don’t know how to correct it. We are posture experts. With specialized Schroth Method training, our team is highly skilled in postural assessment and education. We teach our patients how to take control of their body.
During the evaluation, we identify which muscles are tight and pulling patients out of alignment, and which muscles are too weak to maintain proper posture.
Using our posture grids, we highlight subtle differences between the two sides of the body (frontal plane) and between the front and back of the body (sagittal plane).
From there, we design a customized home exercise program to help our patients restore balance and improve their posture.
No one is too young or too old to benefit from a postural evaluation. Our treatments are adapted for all ages and developmental levels.
General Spinal Conditions
With our Schroth education and experience, our team is well versed in a wide variety of spinal conditions and can help you with your concerns. We help our patients with back and neck pain find relief. We have great success working with patients with diagnoses such as disc herniation, spinal stenosis, spondylosis, spondylolisthesis, sciatica, degenerative disc disease, and sacroiliac (SI) pain or instability. Patients recovering from vertebral stress fractures, pars fractures, and other injuries, benefit from our physical therapy expertise once their injury is healed adequately and they are cleared by their doctors. Our vast knowledge of the spine allows us to understand what is happening with your spine and address it safely and effectively.
For those without any specific spinal diagnosis who have concerns about their overall posture, a postural evaluation can help you address this.
